me: seems more practical
I mean, desert environment, more water storage

Ben: how is it that some camels have two and some have one>
? do you know? is it just evolution?

me: my guess would be a kind of adaptive radiation
the more arid the climate, the more of a necessity the second hump would be

Ben: makes sense

me: but to test that you'd have to find the locations of the different species
compare climates
